The Russian Alphabet, Part 1

1. Read the introduction to the Russian alphabet on page 2 of the Textbook.
2. Listen and repeat the names of the Russian letters on the top of page 2 of the Textbook.
   
3. Listen and repeat the names of the letters and the words on pp. 2-3 of the Textbook.
   
4. Read the section on Stress on page 3.
5. Listen and repeat the names of the letters and the words on page 4 of the Textbook. As you pronounce the words pay special attention to the accent in Russian, which in many instances is in a different place than in the same English word.
   
6. Practice saying and memorize the names of the Russian letters covered thus far.
