1. Formal and Informal Speech Situations

1. Read Formal and Informal Speech Situations on page 28 of the Textbook. You should not be concerned with the meaning of many of the words at this point.
2. Do Exercise 1-15 on page 28 of the Textbook.
3. Do Exercise 1-16 on page 28 of the Textbook.
4. Do Exercise 1-17 on page 28 of the Textbook.
5. Do Exercise 1-18 on page 29 of the Textbook.
   Practice reading the dialogue outloud several times. Pay special attention to the accent. You may want to record the dialogue and send it to the instructor to be checked for accuracy.
6. New words and expressions. Memorize and practice saying these words and expressions: вы, ты, Как тебя зову? Как вас зовут? Где ты учишься? Где вы учитесь? Где ты живёшь? Где вы живёте?
