Богородица, на растојание од околу 1 км., се наоѓа црквата Св. Атанасиј. Во нејзината непосредна околина, низ обраснатиот предел, се распознаваат остатоци од темели на објекти, како и стари гробови. Храмот претставува едноставна градба, со ѕидови од необработен фугиран камен и полукружна апсида на источната страна. Само околу јужниот влез во наосот, вградени се обработени камени блокови, кои го формираат полукружно засведениот премин. Внатрешноста од наосот, јужниот и северниот ѕид прекриена е со ѕидно сликарство. Според натписот над јужниот влез од внатрешната страна, живописот е датиран во 1864 година. Истите непознати мајстори во таа прилика ги насликале и ѕидовите во олтарниот простор како и западниот дел од црквата, односно нартексот. На многу места, под сликарството нанесено во 19 век, најповеќе на местата каде се одлуштени парченца од живопис, се наѕираат остатоци од постар слој на сликарство. Ова постаро сликарство, кое според стилските каралктеристики најверојатно потекнува од 17 век, најзабележливо е на источниот ѕид од олтарниот простор. Импровизираниот иконостас, составен е од икони изработени во различни временски периоди и тоа од 17, 18 и 19 век. Најголем дел од иконите потекнуваат од периодот на поствизантиското сликарство и тие можат да се поврзат со постариот слој на ѕидно сликарство во црквата. Несомнено дека врз неа се вршени повеќе преправки, во различни временски периоди, се до најново време. Црквата има полукружна апсида на исток и единствен влез од западната страна. На југозападниот агол од храмот сочуван е еден немалтерисан камен врз кој е испишана 1852. годината. Оваа година како и дел од иконите на иконостасот, не наведуваат на помислата дека кон средината на 19 век се извршени посериозни интервенции. Од иконописната содржина во црквата, застапени се и неколку икони од 1929 до 1937година. На источниот ѕид од олтарниот простор, слично како и во црквата Св. Атанасиј од истото село, е сочувано ѕидно сликарство кое според стилските карактеристики може хронолошки да се датира во првата половина на 17 век. Од останатите композиции заслужуваат внимание претставите на св. Богородица со Христос во калотата од апсидата и претставата на Христовото Вознесение во горните партии.
