1. Was Born, Grew Up

1. Read the section 1. Was Born, Grew Up on page 243 of the Textbook.
2. Memorize the forms of both verbs. The Russian verb for "to be born" is родиться. Notice that it is reflexive. For obvious reasons only the past tense form is used. The infinitive of the verb for "to grow up" is вырости. It has the -ти infinitive ending.
3. Learn how to ask and answer questions on where one was born and grew up.
4. Complete Упражнение 7-13 on page 231 of the Textbook.
5. Complete Упражнение 7-14 on page 231 of the Textbook.
6. Complete Oral Drill 3 on page 149 of the SAM.
