"Non-Objective" like "Red and Yellow" (see ImageBase) shows no recognizable imagery. It is interesting to note that the Russian equivalent of the term "non-objective" appeared in the subtitle of the fifth State Exhibition (1918-1919) held in Moscow: "From Impressionism to Non-Objective Art."
