Prepositional case. Singular and plural adjectives

Singular adjectives
  1. Adjectives in the prepositional case have a two-letter ending both in the singular and in the plural.
  2. You should keep in mind the appropriate Spelling rules as you decide which ending to use.
  3. Masculine and neuter adjectives with a hard stem will take the ending -ом.
  4. Masculine and neuter adjectives with a soft stem will take the ending -ем.
  5. Masculine and neuter adjectives that end in a spelling rule problem letter will also take the ending -ем.
  6. Feminine adjectives with a hard stem will take the ending -ой.
  7. Feminine adjectives with a soft stem will take the ending -ей.
  8. Feminine adjectives that end in a spelling rule problem letter will also take the ending -ей.
Plural adjectives
  1. Plural adjectives with a hard stem will take the ending -ых.
  2. Plural adjectives with a soft stem will take the ending -их.
  3. Plural adjectives that end in a spelling rule problem letter will also take the ending -их.
  Nominative Masc. and Neuter Feminie Plural
Hard stems новый новом новой новых
Soft stems синий синем синей синих
Spelling rules хороший хорошем хорошей хороших
