The spoiled wedding

Расипанпото венчање

An old man got engaged to an old woman and he called a priest to marry them. According to the Christian custom, the priest asked them if they loved one another, and when he heard that they loved one another, he said to the old man:

"And so, Old Man, why do you need a wife now? You're old already, you don't need a wife"

"In truth, Holy Father, I don't need a wife. I have in mind someone to do my laundry, darn, and cook for me. That's why I'm taking this old woman."

When the old woman heard these words from the old man she got mad and she said angrily to the priest:

"Well now, gather up your books, Father, and go about your business. Because I won't marry an old man like this…"
